Desert Springs Christian Preschool began in 1989 as an outreach ministry of Desert Springs Bible Church.  From the very beginning, we have strived to provide a loving, Christ-centered environment where we can partner with parents to set a positive foundation of learning for each child who attends.  We are a traditional preschool with a balance of preschool-appropriate structure and play-based learning.  We believe that a child learns best through hands-on intentional play and our dedicated teachers work hard to present fun interactive opportunities for the children each day.  We also believe that helping a child develop their heart and sense of community is as important as learning their letters and shapes.  Our Biblical curriculum is based on the Fruit of the Spirit and Heroes of the faith as we learn what the Bible teaches us on how to show patience, love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.  Through these valuable lessons and small student-to-teacher ratios, we strive to help the children build their social, emotional, behavioral, and communication skills that are needed to thrive in their future classrooms.

Ratios: We believe in keeping low student to teacher ratios as well as maintaining two qualified and loving teachers in each class at all times. In our 3’s classes, we have up to 15 children with two teachers. In our Pre-K classes, we have up to 18 students with two teachers.
